At age 21 the keys to the “kingdom” are given and the rights of son-ship bestowed. Some of us are not ready at 21 for this and may not mature till much later in life. Hehe

So today we read through a lot of Chapter 21’s but the chapters that stood out to us I have expounded a little upon below- for encouragement and for the record.

Matthew 21

Jesus overturns the money changers tables and declares My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.

Then the blind and lame came to Him and He healed them all. I believe we are on the cusp of this. A great reversal is about to happen and with that an outpouring of the Holy Spirit that shall see great healing.

Mat 21:12  And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves,

Mat 21:13  And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.

Mat 21:14  And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and he healed them.

Again in Matthew 21

Jesus cursed the Fig Tree – The idea that Judaism or Zionism shall bear fruit in a future age – No it shall never bear fruit pleasing to God….only leaves.

Mat 21:18  Now in the morning as he returned into the city, he hungered.

Mat 21:19  And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away.

Mat 21:20  And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away!

Mat 21:21  Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.

Mat 21:22  And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

The work of the house of prayer:

In other words we have authority to say to the Fig Tree still today YOU SHALL NEVER BEAR FRUIT AGAIN!!

And to other mountains(pretenders) we can say NO!! BE REMOVED FROM OUT OF THE WAY AND BE CAST INTO THE SEA!

Great Reset” BE REMOVED AND CAST INTO THE SEA!!

AGAIN IN MATTHEW 21

Jesus gives another chance to those who heard the call and refused to work in His vineyard….How many of us heard His call and went to the Altar weeping saying we would go anywhere, say anything etc etc and never went. He renews the call today.

Mat 21:28  But what think ye? A certain man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work to day in my vineyard.

Mat 21:29  He answered and said, I will not: but afterward he repented, and went.

Mat 21:30  And he came to the second, and said likewise. And he answered and said, I go, sir: and went not.

FINALLY IN MATTHEW 21

Jesus warns the self righteous Pretenders of the cursed Fig Tree of what will happen to them  – I wrote about this elsewhere

Mat 21:42  Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?

Mat 21:43  Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.

Mat 21:44  And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder

At 21 the Keys of the Kingdom are given- Authority of son-ship is bestowed

IN JOHN 21 – 21 APRIL 2022

Jesus had died – now the disciples who had followed Him and who had had their daily needs met from the money bag that Judas had carried for 3 and a half years went back to their old profession.

What was all that about? Jesus was the talk of the town, now he is dead and gone. All of those inspiring words He spoke were all in vain. Calling Peter a Rock and saying He would build His church upon the rock —yeah right Lord, you are dead now….sooo?

So let’s go back to fishing guys. Back to providing for our families – enough of this nonesense of thinking we are called to change the world for God!!

Joh 21:2  There were together Simon Peter, and Thomas called Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two other of his disciples.

Joh 21:3  Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee. They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing.

Joh 21:4  But when the morning was now come, Jesus stood on the shore: but the disciples knew not that it was Jesus.

Joh 21:5  Then Jesus saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat? They answered him, No.

They went back to their old profession and caught nothing….nada!!

Jesus provides them with breakfast on the Beach.

The Boss had turned up from their last “job”.

What are you guys doing?!

Cast your net on the RIGHT SIDE!!

So they did and caught 153 large fish which did not break the NET…there was room for more!!..or that net could be used over and over without breaking it.

They were called by Jesus and He came to them to make sure they knew that. To make sure they did not go back and be entangled again in the affairs of men. They were fishers of men and when following Jesus would catch a huge haul every time….but going back to following the old they would catch NOTHING.

Then Jesus sets the ring leader of this return to the old way apart and corners him…

Joh 21:15  So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.

Joh 21:16  He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

Joh 21:17  He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

Joh 21:18  Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not.

Joh 21:19  This spake he, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow me.

Jesus must take all those whom He calls into Death before He is ready to “use” them in the lives of His precious sheep.

These 7 men were all disillusioned with God and were wavering as to the future.

I thought He had commissioned us? I thought He had said we shall be involved with Him in building the kingdom? But obviously we heard wrong. Obviously we are deceived. It’s over.

And the one who thought he was the most called and the most worthy to be building the kingdom had had the biggest fall of them all. Peter.

I’m going fishing” is typical Peter – walking wherever he wanted to. Jesus made sure Peter heard the message FOLLOW ME…not your natural man.

Feed My sheep and tend My lambs Peter. Fishing is over for you.
